Nearly everyone thinks doing fundraising in the midst of active ministry is overwhelmingly hard. The main difficulty in fundraising while doing ministry is YOU.

It's too easy to think your local ministry is more important than fundraising, but the reality is that fundraising is also part of your ministry. You can and should be ministering to your partners because you're the best one to do it.

Fundraise from right where your ministry is located, you can connect via email, social media, and video chat. It takes a commitment on your part to set aside the appropriate time, and it will be worth it. How much time? Well, just a few focused hours a week can make a difference. And having accountability in place to make fundraising a priority can make all the difference.

Make a plan, find an accountability partner, and start investing in your ministry of fundraising.

Jenny Karr, Director of Training & Coaching Services

My mission is to train, equip, and support people in ministry and as the Director of Training and Coaching Services, I get to do all of those things in one role! When I’m not coaching, training, or writing blogs, I’m enjoying time at home or in the city with my husband, daughter, and friends here in Nashville, TN.

Let's talk about your fundraising plan!
